About Villa Pozzolo
With roots dating back to the early 11th-12th centuries, Villa Pozzolo is a beautifully restored historic villa, lovingly renovated by Niko von Glasow and his family. Every detail shows their intentionality: antiques, unique restorations, murals inspired by ancient Roman art, and warm, inviting common spaces.
The land around the villa has been cared for with love—from the revived gardens, vineyards, and forest to the mini sheep, bunnies, and Icelandic horses that live on the grounds.
The villa is also home to three on-site chefs, each bringing culinary expertise from a different background to ensure every meal is unforgettable.
Because Villa Pozzolo operates on an all-inclusive model, you can expect everything to be taken care of under one roof: food, drinks, activities, staff, etc.
We can’t wait to share this place with all of you!
How to get there
The closest airports are Florence (~1 hr by car), Pisa (~1 hr), and Rome (~3 hrs). If you’re planning to travel in Italy before or after the wedding, check out a few of our ideas below!
From the airport, we recommend either renting a car to enjoy a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside, scheduling a driver for door-to-door ease, or taking a train to a nearby town and finishing the journey with a short taxi or bus ride. For longer routes, like from Rome, the high-speed train to Florence plus a car transfer can also be a smooth option.
If you’d like help figuring out the best route or arranging shared transport with other guests, please reach out to us—we’re happy to help!

The Main Villa
For the wedding party and their significant others, we can’t wait to see you at Villa Pozzolo. You’ll be staying on-site in one of the villa’s many bedrooms. We will be working with the villa staff to coordinate room matching once RSVPs are confirmed— nothing to do on your end!
The Main Villa has a lot to explore— courtyards, library, painting room, heated saltwater swimming pool, petting zoo, and nearly 100 acres of garden and forest.
Check out the schedule to see what activities are planned throughout the weekend and don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly if you have questions. We can’t wait to spend quality time with all of you!

The Apartments
For guests not staying directly on-site, we are so excited to welcome you to The Apartments at Antico Casale Rodilosso. The Apartments are directly across the street from Villa Pozzolo with just a quick 10 minute walk between them. Once RSVPs are confirmed, we will reach out directly to coordinate the apartment booked for you!
Each apartment has a full kitchen, private bathroom, bedrooms dependent on guest count, and access to the grounds at Antico Casale Rodilosso.
Additionally, whether you are craving a midday snack or just want a quick stroll with a glass of prosecco, you are welcome at The Main Villa at any time. Villa Pozzolo’s all-inclusivity with regards to food, drink, and activities also applies to guests staying at The Apartments.
